first and foremost i want to say thank you to the people who have supported me in my adventures in creating, from my first tiny store in second life way back in 2006, to those who road the rollercoaster of LuNi Designs, and those who moved forward with me to create ~SongBird~. thank you for nearly 13 years of making weird stuff.
that said, my store has been dying for a long time, and i have been trying futilely to continue creating, however the time has come to stop. creating in second life requires money and that is not a resource i am able to come by easily. my sales have been dropping steadily for years now, and i am barely making enough to continue uploading anything, let alone pay for rentals, advertisement, event fees, ect.
and so with a heavy heart i have decided to stop. ~SongBird~ will close april 1st. marketplace will remain, and there will be no closing sale as my stuff is already super cheap. if you have vouchers or credit remaining for my store, now is the time to use it.
will i return to the world of creating? not likely. i will probably work for my partner’s store doing texturing for his creations but i doubt i will open another store myself.
